The History of Sam’s

We’ve been providing quality customer service since 1946. Sam and Florence Weisblatt founded our company as a small corner grocery store. Originally known as Sam's Stop and Stop, they soon began carrying televisions and appliances. Together they helped Sam’s grow into one of the leading independent businesses in the Metroplex today.

Sam passed away in 1976, but his memory remains a continuing source of pride and enlightenment for our Sam's family. He is survived by his wife, Florence and two sons, Paul and Herb. Herb now serves as our President and Florence still handles all of our accounts payable.
