My career with Sam's began in October of 1991, beginning in the warehouse and delivery area. While learning the basics of the day to day procedures as well as introducing me to Sam's philosophy - "We are in the people business, not just the furniture business." This philosophy was instrumental in working my way up to Warehouse Manager.

After a few years, I felt I was better suited to the Sales Team, which provided a better opportunity for me to get to know and help our customers. Sales is my true passion. I learned all I could about the products we offer. After several years, I worked my way up to Store Manager. My experience in different capacities at Sam's has helped me to gain knowledge of all aspects of the company.

My favorite product is electronics – and I love talking about all the new features available today. I talk with our vendors on a regular basis to stay on top of all the new technology and products. This helps me to better serve our customers and sales associates, making me the Electronics Specialist and go-to person.

In my spare time, I enjoy working on and showing my classic cars. On weekends, you can usually find me at car shows or at the race track. I am a Nascar fan. My favorite driver is Jeff Gordon - 24.
